This isn’t the first time Matthew McConaughey has searched for gold in a Hollywood ‘blockbuster’, but when he’s hunting for it in the jungles of Indonesian Borneo that’s when things get really interesting – at least for us Indo-lovers!
In this new movie titled just ‘Gold’, McConaughey plays Kenny Wells, an unlucky American prospector who seems hungry for riches. He’s on a hunt for a mythic gold mine in Indonesia. With an unlikely friend, he finds his gold but manages to rouse the attention of the FBI and the Indonesian military! The craziest part is, the movie is based on true events!
