The tradition of the Asian Games Torch might have never had a more finicky route than journeying around Indonesia’s 17,000 islands.
By the time the games start on 18th August, the torch will have traveled 18,000 kilometers through 53 cities and districts in 18 provinces of Indonesia.

The Torch lands in Jambi today, then host city Palembang in South Sumatra, followed by Lampung, Serang in Banten and Bandung in West Java.
The Asian Games will be co-hosted by Jakarta and Palembang from 18th Aug through Sept. 2.
