Think you have caught big fish? Think again.
Weighing in 1.5 tons and more than 6 feet long, this monstrous sea creature was not exactly what you would expect to catch on a usual day out at sea. Well, technically it wasn't "caught". This rare Ocean Sunfish was actually found in critical condition after it had washed ashore in Palu, Central Sulawesi.
Sunfish, also known as Mola Mola, are known to be one of the heaviest bony fish in the world. These things can reach up to 14ft vertically and 10ft horizontally - weighing up to 2000 kgs!
The fisherman were reported to try help drag it out to sea in hopes that it would recover and swim away, however sadly for this big guy, tides pulled him back in which the fish eventually died at sea.
