Indonesia Ranks As The Top Trilingual Country In The World

Research conducted by the website SwiftKey has led to the production of a fantastic infographic, giving us insight into the the different languages their users are typing in. The work was done in recognition of the importance of languages, and to celebrate the United Nation’s International Mother Language Day.

The trilingual combination of Indonesian/Javanese/English has given Indonesia the number 1 spot, followed by Israel (English/Hebrew/Russian) and Spain (Catalan/English/Spanish).

The data is based only on the analysis of languages used globally in the Swiftkey Keyboard app
– but we’ll still happily claim number 1 spot!
